An Index of [Subway Station Mosaic] in NYC Artist's Book by Doris Liu
“This booklet is a homage to the kaleidoscopic shapes and colors on the walls of hundreds of subway stations in New York City. Compacted into an easily portable size, the booklet is a unique traveler’s note.
The palettes of each mosaic are extracted into strips that edge the pages. When the booklet folds, the pages naturally form a slope that reveals the abundance of colors. The booklet is folded twice and stitched in the middle. Thus, a full spread makes four panels, adding to the freedom of reading.” - Doris Liu
6.5” x 6.75” x 0.25”
