TIR by Marvel Gregoire
Coptic bound artist’s book with letterpress and hand painted imagery.
4” x 5.5”
Artist’s Note :
“After the 2018 Parkland massacre, as in Sandy Hook 2012, gun control proponents took measure to ensure this would happen ‘Never Again.’ Young adults rose up in defiance of the abuse. However, once again the NRA filed lawsuits and Congress did little to curb this kind of violence against children.
When nothing is done, there is a disturbing association, created and legitimized by those in power, between random violence and the devaluation of children in our culture. We might say that this is unacceptable. But when nothing is done, we are all complicit.”
*Consignment item. Not eligible for 10% membership discount. All consignment purchases are final and non-refundable once shipped.
