Elysa Voshell (she/her) is a book artist and letterpress printer who is honored to also be MCBA’s Executive Director. She loves how handmade objects can connect us across space and time, and the sense of discovery that comes through the process of making. Her artist’s books have been featured in 500 Artists Books and the Lark Studio Series: Handmade Books, and are held in over two dozen international museum and university collections including the Getty Research Institute and the Tate Britain. When she’s not making books, Elysa can be found exploring by bike, balancing in awkward yoga poses, pickling random vegetables, or playing with her pup.
